Abstract:  The address coverage is a point coverage representing the individual addresses for Butte County which have been derived from digital and hardcopy sources as well as verified by field checks. All new address are submitted by local agencies and entered into the database as well as given a relative point location within the associated parcel. Points of addresses are not absolute and are placed within a designated parcel.

Purpose: This layer is designed as GIS address point product. This information is intended for cartographic use, general spatial analysis and as a spatial index to Land related information. It is not intended for site specific analysis.
